    Hello fellow Readers,

I just got back from a memorable and exciting backpacking trip to the place where you get your pathetic rice grains from - Indonesia. I had so much fun. Really. The entire 5-day trip was oh so worthwhile and while on the trip back here in Singapore, I, for as usual, felt very reluctant to leave. Padang Bukit Tinggi makes you feel at ease, tranquil and sophisticated. When I was there, all I could think was "where are we going next/tmrw?". Padang is really different than the modernize Singapore here. Apart from the extremely soothing cool weather, Padang gives you the traditional way of life which I believe people of my age have yet or had no opportunity to see. Even the side of the roads, you can see padi fields serenading the entire area alongside the natural mountains that never fail to awe any single human being. It felt like New Zealand. It also felt like Perth, Australia. Though it felt, Asian.

People there were awesome as well. I felt too embarassed to be compared as a Singaporean. Even a slight Thank You matters to them than us. Everywhere you go, when you purchase, they'll go saying thank you, as a sign of appreciation. Do you see that in Singapore?I felt they were the most courteous civilians I've seen before.

Its too much to write for all of doings that were done during the 5 days. Here are the several pics (according to time, Day 1, Day 2) of somethings are better viewed. Have fun. =)
